Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born Andrea Jane Corr) is an actress, singer, songwriter and musician from Ireland. Corr made her debut in the year 1990. She was her lead vocalist in The Corrs, a Celtic folk and pop rock band The Corrs along with her three siblings, Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish performer, songwriter and actress. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was conferred upon her and she is also recognized as a member of the Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock group The Corrs. As the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she also serves as the group's leader. Andrea made her acting debut in 1991. In the following years, she developed into an experienced singer and stage performer. She was the voice in The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film which was released in 1998. Andrea is truly a multi-faceted artist. She has a total of six studio albums, two compilation albums as well as two live albums and one remix. She has been felicitated by her charity work as well. Andrea is the wife of her stockbroker partner and they have two kids. Andrea started music lessons at the age of eight, learning the Tin flute. Andrea learned how to play piano, under the instruction of Gerry. Andrea also is a ukulele player. She spent the teenage years working on her technique. The teenage years she spent developing her musical talents. Andrea was a student of Dun Lughaidh Convent as well as a participant in various school productions.
