Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr made her debut in 1990, as lead singer for The Corrs, a Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim and their three older siblings. Andrea Corr, an Irish singer, musician and songwriter is part of The Corrs. She was awarded the honor of being a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is better known as a member of the Celtic folk and pop-rock group The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of the Corrs, she is also their leader. Andrea began her professional career acting in 1991. She later became an artist on stage and as a musician. She voiced on The Warner Bros. 1998 animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's studio albums include six. They are complemented by two compilation albums as well as three live albums, and a remix album. Andrea was also honored for her work in charity. Andrea as well as her partner who is a stockbroker have two kids. Andrea started her musical lessons by playing the Tin-whistle. Gerry helped her learn to play the piano. Andrea is also a Ukulele player. She polished her musical skills during her teenage years. She began by practicing with her siblings as well, before she became an eminent singer of the group. Andrea participated in many plays at Dun Lughaidh Convent.
